I wasn't really sure where to put this so I'm hoping if this is not the right place someone will kindly move it

I've discovered a flaw/bug that stops you from being able to progress with the Wayward Son quest.  If you talk to one contact person (Either Vincenso or Thrask) who then puts you on to talking to the "retired" templar (Samson I think his name is) he tells you to go to the docks and talk to Rainer.  If you then talk to the other contact (either Vincenso or Thrask's opposite) they refer you back to Samson again and the quest in the journal reverts back to go talk with Samson, however although he has the quest icon over his head he won't talk to you.  The quest then becomes stuck with no way to progress.
