Im trying to find information regarding whether or not the weapons used at the very beginning of the game when its just Hawke & his sister are actually available in the game or were they only for use in the beginning....any info is appreciated.

The daggers are called Finesse and Widow's Heart (unsure if this is the exact name, can be bought from a NPC though).

Not sure about the rest.

I think I got the staff for the mage, it dropped from one of the mages during that mission where you go check out Thrask`s rebel group.

You can find the daggers at the docks. A shadey merchant as them. if that helps

I got Finesse from Zevran. Playing as a 2H warrior that time didn't make it very useful.

The staff the mage uses at the beginning is probably the Staff of Parthelan, which isn't actually an endgame weapon in the first place--just a DLC weapon that's particularly good by Act 1's standards but falls out of usefulness after that.

i got the Staff of Pathelan, but no, it's not the Mages Camphion Weapon tho :S but I wan't the daggers, excactly when can i get those? what act? a specific quest? pls hlp me

The staff used at the beginning is *not* the Staff of Parlathan. It's the "dragon headed staff" model if Hawke is the mage, or the one automatically given to Bethany if she goes to the Circle.

The Staff of Parlathan is used by the Blood Mage Hawke in the DA2 trailers.

All Champion gear are either randomly dropped or bought throughout Act 3 I believe.
