If I'm remembering correctly, that law had to do with penetration.  Yes, penetrating other men has been loathed for centuries pretty much across the board.  However, that wasn't a law against non-penetrative male homosexual behavior.  There are other things men can do than insert tab A into slot B...and those things have not received as much cultural revulsion.

That being said, exclusive male/male relationships, historically, ended up badly at the hands of culture.

Thank goodness this isn't ancient Rome.

It is wrong.

Having "distaste" for someone for something as harmless as their sexuality is utterly and completely wrong. It may not make you Pol Pot, but it's something you should at least realize is wrong. If you limited it to yourself, and never spread that..."distaste", then I suppose I can't complain. But wanting this toggle is acting upon your homophobia, even in a minor way.

It's no different than having a toggle to remove everyone woman from the game. It's hateful, it's degrading, and it speaks more volumes on what political message they're trying to push than the already-present option to say no to someone hitting on you.

It's a bit hard to sympathize with something that rapes you.

I like to think of her as two different people. I like the little kid Alma because she soemtimes seems to help you. I don't like the adult Alma because she scares the hell out of me. And she does that weird Spider walk on occasion, that just looks... unnatural.

Beyond that, adding a feature that negates a base feature of the game is a lot harder to make than say, allowing the option for everyone to be a love muffin.

That's why I didn't say "all" the fanbase. 

But I am part of the fanbase that still see her as the woobie in general.

Does anyone know if you get to pick sides in F.E.A.R 3?
