Yeah if you were a renedouche Shepard and chose the renedouche "Your kind is disgusting" she would keep romancing you. :?

Creeepy.

And the Asari are all female. My male Shepard still didn't want to sleep with blue humans with tentacle heads, clinginess, and an annoying tendeancy to read minds.

I'm sorry, I must have missed the point where you revealed your word was law? Who was I to know finding homosexuality distasteful was wrong? How dare I have a different opinion than your own.

Finding homosexuality personally distasteful is not wrong.  I think peas are distasteful.   Expecting them to go the extra mile to add something that's not needed (a toggle for optional content) is kind of irrational.  It's like, if I were to complain to a restaurant's management b/c they have peas on the menu even though it's optional for me to order them.  Is it rational for me to demand they create a whole new menu that excludes listing peas as a side dish option just so I dont' have to think about other people ordering and eating peas?

Technically, they're genderless. They appear female to us because they have all the bits and pieces of human females.

Just because it's Wiki doesn't mean the data is "automatically" incorrect.  Are you claiming the entire page is filled with nothing but lies?

No, it is not however, a scholarly source - and you obviously are trying to be scholarly. ::smile::

I stated that sexuality is circumstantial.  It  runs on a continuum. This has been born out by massive research, the quoting of which is not appropriate on this forum.

LOL this is such complete and utter garbage!  If sexuality is as you say, a continuum, then why is there so much disgust towards homosexuality in the World?

In the world? Are you so sure about that?  Are you aware of how many countries sanction gay marriage?

Wouldn't that mean that most people aren't completely straight or gay, but have some degree of bisexuality?  But yet there's been so much aversion towards homosexuality throughout the ages, including the very Ancient Civilizations you probably think were very tolerant of it.....ie Rome.

That is correct. Most are not "completely" straight or "completely" gay.   And you simply have your facts incorrect about Rome.  Perhaps you got them from wiki?

Did you know the death penalty was once prescribed in Ancient Rome to men who had sex with other freeborn men/boys.  Of course you didn't.

The law was called Lex Scantinia.  Look it up if you don't believe me.

This law was passed in the second century BC. There is much debate as to how, exactly it was applied. Some scholars have interpreted it as a prohibition against male rape, specifically.

That argument aside (and it cannot be won) -  you yourself note it was against sex with FREE BORN MEN.  (ie it was complletly acceptable for a male to have sex with his slave).  Rome was about making more soldiers. You can't make more soldiers - if you're spending all your time in the bum of a young boy.

So you see?  - Circumstantial. Laws, religion, societal mores all shape those circumstances.

The sex drive itself - when at it strongest, rarely is concerned with these constraints.

We were not arguing "sexual behavior" vs "sexual orientation".

The reason why I brought this up, is because you obviously don't know the difference between the two.

Actually, I think it is yourself who does not.

I know. And I don't deny that it's wrong.

That's why I didn't say "all" the fanbase.

But I am part of the fanbase that still see her as the woobie in general.

Does anyone know if you get to pick sides in F.E.A.R 3?

I think you just get to decide whether you want to let Alma give birth or not. And also you get to play as either Pointman or Paxton in co-op. But I'm not sure how your choice to help or stop Alma really has an impact.

Ah. That IS creppy and slightly psychotic.

I love liara, but I'll admit to being a bit squeemish to girl on girl. That's NOT to say it shouldnt be in the game though. Love is love after all, and has no gender to gender restrictions.

And this is why the whole "ALMA RAEPZ YOU" is somewhat lessened. Because of this.

It's not. It's mechanical for men in as much as, it'll still work regardless of if he actually wants to or not depending on physical stimulus.

Mind = NO! NO! NO! NO! STOP!
Body = willing.

The asari don't read minds. They just meld on occassion with a willing partner and share thoughts.

Because your aversion to homosexuality is wrong. And adding said toggle would condone it.

I'm sorry, I must have missed the point where you revealed your word was law? Who was I to know finding homosexuality distasteful was wrong? How dare I have a different opinion than your own.

Get off your high horse and make a real argument. One that doesn't rely on false claims of moral superiority.

Sorry friend, there is not going to be a "no ******" option in Bioware games, as I think is made pretty clear by the stance that was publically taken on it. If you want a no ****** option bless your bigoted heart and buy a different game.

They're an all female race. The codex says it, the Asari themselves say it. That "monogendered" BS was just trying to say "Oh femShep isn't gay!!!!"

But wouldn't it be more awesome just for the sake of this thread to say that Manshep was constantly having sex with Aliens that were not Female?

In the realm of this thread I think that is kind of
