Is there a mod that allows player to adjust the default appearance of Hawk(1st&2nd presets)?
I really like the default female face, but I don't like the hair:pinched:
Mod that makes default Hawke appearance adjustable?

The hair and beard aren't enough, I think the default Hawke is done very well I'd just like to adjust the eye and hair color.

It's modifiable, use this: http://mod.gib.me/dr...genmorphcfg.zip
The last two presets are modifiable iconic presets.
(my chargenmorphcfg also adds tons of other stuff too)

To determine the families appearance you can change the position of the copied Hawk preset.
For example if you want the "default" family then you need to add the copied Hawk entry at position 3 or 4.

For some reason, when I installed this the performance of the game took a serious dive. I was getting a constant 60 FPS with DX9 on medium in 1680x1050, but after I installed this, I am getting around 25. Even after I've deleted it, it is still the same.

Where do you put the file?

This is great! Thank you very much, Thought Process!
After trying your chargenmorphcfg, I am wondering why Bioware claimed it was impossible to alter the Hawke preset???

Just go to wherever you have your dragon age 2 game installed and then paste the "packages" folder into it... this should ask if you want to merge the files. When you merge the files together (not delete/get rid of, merge.) you can click into the packages folder and then click into core and you should see folders like "audio" "data" "env" "override" and then "textures".DarthShadow13 wrote...

The "override" is what you just put in. :3

It's better to extract it to Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age 2.

You have to remove two presets to add two presets, else the last two screw up the script that auto-generates faces for Bethany, Carver, and Leandra.
The face generation script ties to preset number. For example, it knows that an artibrary preset #7 has sun baked skin and strong cheekbones, and it will generate your family's faces accordingly. This script works for 9 presets: The two default Hawkes and the 7 others. Causing it to have 11 presets creates overflow and as such the creation script won't be applied. I tested this when I was doing something similar, adding the presets again in the XML last. I chose the 2nd to last one, and wuddya know, it happened. Anyone can try it themselves to confirm it, download the XML and create a face using the 2nd to last, or last preset.
Work arounds include replacing presets in the XML with duplicates of the default, or simply putting up with an unmodified default until you get to Kirkwall and can reach the Black Emporium, effectively being able to edit your face without changing family appearances.
