This might be a somewhat stupid question, and may already have been answered somewhere...
Im gettin DAO för my xbox360, is it possible to get the unlocked items such as the lucky stone and the DAJ items without having xbox-live?

Is it a matter of a slow connection or some technical problem? If it's just unwillingness to pay for a gold account, a free silver account is sufficient to get those things.

Xbox LIVE is free and easy to set up. Worst case scenario you take your xbox to a friends house for an hour one evening.

what he said, silver acct is free all you need is an email address, then register it to an EA acct and the unlocks will assumably load to your profile once you start the game.Ekardt wrote...

It's a mix between having to pull wires to the tv for internet connection and a slight fear of me somehow screwing up my console in the progress 
I'm a game fanatic, i'm the type who likes nothing more then a ON and OFF button (regarding hardware that is).
But i guess if theres no other way i'll just have to get to it and get xbox live!

the only way you can screw the console up is if you unplug it or turn it off while doing a system update. So just dont do that and youre fine. Xbox LIVE users(even silver ones) still get tons of great stuff, like free demos for tons of games. Theres no legitimate reason not to have it if its possible for you to have the set up.

If you use a correctly set up router it's about as plug&play as things get, though XBL has been known to be a little problematic with some ISPs, but only a few...

even if your setup is what is causing an issue direct connect it get the add-ons that come with it(download) make sure your bonuses/unlocks are there and so long as you used that profile/silver or gold acct to download it on that specific console when you are done downloading/updating, disconnect and return to whatever configuration you had before and you wont have any license issues with the downloads if the 360 doesnt have access to Live afterwards.
