I played a Mage Hawke, and I was really looking forward to rocking the Champion outfit. But come the final boss, I only had the gloves and hood. What gives? Did I miss something?

I got the breastplate on my warrior from the high dragon in bone pit act 3. Did you fight him?

Boots you get from the first Templar quest, when meredith asks you do go and capture the mages, one of them is a blood mage elf, he drops the boots, and yup High Dragon dropped Champion's Robes.

Funny, I killed the High Dragon and didn't get anything from her. That kind of upset, perhaps it was just a glitch. I just remember an ungodly long battle with that damn thing, which led to no gain. Unfortunate.

Honestly I've noticed as the game progresses, load screens take longer (obvious) but something I didn't expect was it appears that for loot to show up on bosses/in stashes sometimes began to take longer also. I would wait about 15 seconds, not see anything spawn on a corpse that was still oddly sitting there, and leave, only to read a post later somewhere how that individual was supposed to drop something for me! It's starting to get irritating sitting around that long... perhaps that is what happened to you?

I just beat the game, no gear like how you start off on the very first part of the game. *that gear looked so ****in amazing* Im disappointed in that. otherwise a pretty good game, and I never got Isabella which was another disappointment. I didnt know she existed till a couple hours ago.

Actually this isn't true. The Champion gear =IS= the gear you start off in the very first part of the game. I just created a new rogue, looked at it for a bit, then swapped over to my endgame rogue, looked at my Champion gear, it looks the exact same. The only bits I do not have are the weapons.

I found one of the Rogue weapons when i played, it was called Fineese or something, forgot where i got it but it looked very similar to the ones from the exaggerated story at the start.

Yes, Finesse is obtained...

*SPOILERS*

Supposedly if you help Zevran and do not kill him, he will eventually come and give you Finesse or somesuch... I honestly do not remember the details, I'm sure someone around here does. Supposedly another dagger that looks similar can be obtained from a market in lowtown, although it's not the best dagger, it does have a similar look.

if you're not seeing sparklies just start tapping 'R' when in a room. it not only auto-targets enemies and attacks in combat but auto-loots and approaches when out of it.

Actually for mage you get the chest armor in the chest after you kill Orsino, which is almost the end of the game, so it's pretty much a let down that you can't get it until it's almost useless to you.
