I played as male Hawke and romanced Anders as well. But I'm not quite sure if that other seeker really meant Anders but maybe the hero of ostagard, the one from DA:O.

But yea, the endling was a little sudden. I would have hoped that Kirkwall was some kind of intro to the game where the two timelines (Varrics story and cassandra) merge...

Really? I'm thinking of making male mage hawke and trying for Fenris o.o tricky I know....

was that ending.... SUPPOSED to leave us hanging like that? I hope this doesn't turn into a Kotor type thing.....

I can totally see why the Mages/Circle vs Templars/Chantry thing comes from...

damn....

I have no idea honestly. But I'm waiting for an add on like awakening. I mean DA2 had a solid 35 hours of playtime. That's not too bad. In the end I gotta say that the game was really fun. The gameplay was amazing :3
Having more time to play would be awesome tho :P
And I actually quite like the idea of Mages rebelling against the Templars =3

It's a cliffhanger ending.

How did you not see that coming. EA wants to **** out some DLC or maybe even a sequel.

It's Bioware stuff. They're DLCs ****ing kick ass =3
I'd defo buy anything that let's me have more fun as long as the price is reasonable. The same goes for Mass Effect stuff

Whatever they do, I really really hope that if they bring back the Warden/champion they'll adress their romance companions in more than a letter :/ I won't lie.. I adore those sub-plots and moving on the expansions without them at the protagonist side feels very hollow.

It wasn't an ending.

Dragon Age 2 = the pirates of the carribean 2 of the series. Still a great movie, but didn't resolve jack crap.

Dragon Age 3 please. Now. Or else!

The funny thing is, Dead Man's Chest, Empire Strikes Back, etc ... they always somehow turn out to be my favourites :D DA2 is looking the same, so far.

When they mentioned the warden, that got my hopes up for playing the warden again and resolving the Morrigan/OGB plot. But I think one of the devs said somewhere that the wardens story was done and dusted.. I just want to finish that plot as the warden, as opposed to Hawke. One can dream..

It's gonna be interesting to see what they do with DA 3, to say the least.

At least I can give them credit for DAO having SOME closure, the archdemon dead. Etc. Here, it feels like you resolved nothing at all, and they just leave you with questions not answers.

I was expecting the story to catch up to Varric telling the story and thing finishing it with the Seeker in a finale chapter. Suffice to say I was disapointed in the ending, I felt like if it was in development longer I could have had a whole act as Viscount of Kirkwall in an either Templar run city or Mage run city.

Leliana appears earlier in the game if you invested in Sebastian's DLC. :) You get to see her kick a little butt too.

EA got you by the balls, then can squeeze them so hard that you are forced to pay 30$ for 1 hour gameplay

This.

Act 2 and 3 should have been switched. The 3rd act should have been the Champion leading his/her chosen faction against a massive invasion by the Qunari.

That would have made for the kind of epic ending that the story desperately needs.

So who do you think we'll play in DAIII? I'm actually hoping to play Hawke again....

I think the Origins stories might be back for DA3. It is hard to say whether we will be playing as Hawke in a tale of disappearance or a new character all together. I hope it is set in Tevinter though.

Gonna say it right now, after Anders bombs the chantry which is a pretty ballsy scene it all goes downhill. It just seems rushed, no climactic battle, no epilogue, Orsino and Meridith go nuts through the magic of ass pull, and the horrible sin of a cliff hanger ending. I personally think they should have delayed it another few months.

I hope DAIII is more Hawke. The warden story is done imo and should stay that way. Darkspawn only blight once every several hundred years and if I wanted to fight orcs with an alliance of elves dwarfs and humans I could play/watch any game or movie inspired by Lord of the rings, theres millions of them. Hell thats WoW in a nut shell. I'm glad they are fleshing out the Mage-templar-chantry relations and the poltical landscape of Orlais Tevinter Freemarshes Qunari dwarfs Dalish and so on. Such a rich world, why squander it on a two dimensional enemy like the darkspawn?

They need to make an expansion that allows u to play as Hawke or the Warden, and the Warden and Hawke are imported from their respective games etc.

Eg

Party Consisting of
Warden + Hawke
and
Warden Companion
and
Hawke Companion

I got the game on Thursday 10th, and got it completed last night 12th.
I loved the Anders Boom scene...
Anders just started a civil war. classic

I guess thats what he used the Dragon Stone and Cera Patal for...
Theres me wondering why I never saw him drink a potion with those ingredients.

If Act 2 and 3 had been switched, the Qunari would have been involved for sure. They wouldn't have been able to sit around.

Funny, it took me the exact same amount of time to finish the game :-D

The ending was closed. Very much so. The lifeblood question of the game was: "Who is the champion of Kirkwall?"
Was your question not answered? It was.

In all seriousness, it's certain that a DLC, expansion, or third game will bring our other questions answers.
