15 hours, and just got to deep roads.

I did most side quests i believe.

16 hours and all side stuff done, except a few in act 3? How is that even possible? I'm 2 hours in act 2 and over 30 hours in total. I smell casual difficulty, skipped cut-scenes, skipped dialogues, none exploration, no tactical, no order and no item managing playthrough. In other words, a big disappointment for everybody who plays that way.

Try again on hard difficulty and then actually care about the game, or at least try.

My first playthrough was on hard and went for 43 hours and didn't even do all the quests. I actually bumped it down to Normal for my second playthrough just for the story and see it I can get the friend/rivalry thing right this time.

I`m in the middle of act 1 and it`s 22 hours.

I had exactly 35hrs 59min and 59secs

I did every thing possible in act 1, a fair amount of act 2 and only what was needed in act 3.

I suspect this game will hit 50+ hrs if you do every side/companion quest.

I'm up to 20 hours and I'm just heading into the Deep Roads, did every sidequest that came up so far. I already played through to the first time jump as a sort of "trial run" to find my feet (a few hours less since I went there as soon as I could), but restarted since I messed up a few times (not paying attention to the quest log, so I missed out on a couple of party members, among other things).

Ya, thats your cash and loss.  I am pushing 30 hours, just started act 2 at level 15 with tons of content still to go.  Personally I enjoy getting my money's worth.

If you escape your way through dialogue and cut scenes that is your loss. I'm at 28 hours and have just gone into act 3.

I just bought all eight seasons of 24 on DVD and I was able to fast-forward through them in less than 24 hours. What the hell is up with that? Such a disappointment.

It was shorter than I expected, and I did my best to find every quest I could. Having finished it I can see why so many people were disappointed. And here I thought all the people on the forums were just "whiners", but now I see that their disappoint is actually quite legitimate.

That's about what it too me to get through Act 1 on normal...

I read a few of the codex entries, not all. Even skipped a quest that didn't feel in-character, but I did the rest.

Imo you may have thought you "did everything" OP but you missed a lot

Yeah I'm going to call BS on the OP. If it took 200 hours to play through DA:O and only 16 to play through DA2 then you are playing them very differently. It took me 35 hours to play through DA2 and I don't even think I did everything. I did most of the side quests, but I didn't explore a ton. I probably could have gotten a few more hours out of it even.

Honestly I feel like I got more out of DA2 than DA:O because the side quests in DA:O were really not compelling at all so I skipped a ton of chanter boards and other nonsense. In DA2 I felt like each and every quest was something I could get a bit of story out of. I think overall it took me a few more hours to play through DA:O than DA2 and those extra hours were not worth it to me.

16 hours? I just finished Act 1, it took me 20 hours. I checked my completed quests, and theres around 40 or more quests all together in just Act 1 alone.
