Hey there. Just wondering if anyone perhaps has any thoughts on whether Elemental mastery is worth the extra 3 point investment.

Im full frost (absolutely love Cone of Cold), enough in arcane to get crushing prison. Force mage specialization.

Im not really interested in fire, however, if i had to add those 3 extra points it would be fireball + upgrade and pyromancer. Just to get that +100% brittle +25% frost dmg from Elemental Mastery

As an alternative, I was thinking leaving 4 in frost and going deep into the primal tree. (altho this would result in my frost not being as good as it can be.
I dont really like fire, but i love frost.

So just wondering if perhaps anyone would know whether those extra 3 fire points are worth investing for Elemental Mastery just to get the upgrades primarily for the frost spells.

Frankly, the setup of some of the trees is annoying. You have to get abilities you aren't at all interested in to get the ones you are interested in, which wastes valuable Ability Points.

Personally, I'd live without in the early levels and focus on rounding out my other skills, then come back for the Elemental Mastery later on when I've got the spells I want.
