I'm not sure if this is old news, but I gasped so loud when I saw it that I had to share for anyone else who might have missed it. I hadn't noticed this at all the first time, but I replayed the end battle tonight and lo and behold, our old Antivan assassin decided to stick around a little while longer and get in on the action!





I don't even know if this is a glitch, an easter egg or if I'm missing some dialogue where he pops up before the big fight and explains how he just loves the smell of revolution in the morning. Doesn't he have somewhere else to be? Like perhaps with my Amell Warden whom he was supposedly in love with so he shouldn't be flirting with her second cousin?

I found Zevran's appearance in DA2 especially surprising since I was playing with an imported save from DA:O where I murdered him

Yeah I heard his very familiar battle cries from origins. Then saw him, pretty badass.

When your Warden "killed" him, he fell through a giant plot hole and ended up in Kirkwall.

And that's when he first met... the Champion.

I would of seen him but sadlyI i was too busy making sure anders wasn't knock unconsious by the templars, For some reason I kept hearing alistairs voice or lelianas voice, Strange ..

He and Leliana look like important persons now. Zev trying singlehandedly change how Crows work and so all Antiva doing his own war, Leliana is a trysted person of the Divine herself.

Nethaniel showed up in my final battle. I expected...Something of an announcement of people joining my fight. Not just, turn around, wtf, there's a Zev.

A lot of people will show up for the final battle, I had Donnic Avaline's husband show up cause I had her in my party. I had Zev, Nathaniel seems like if you make friends or help people they'll show up when you least expect it.

I was deeply confused and irked when I saw him appear out of nowhere, but nothing else in this game made any sense, so why not? Also, was not pleased that leliana seem to have abandoned my warden after they went off together...

Trysted person of the divine? I didn't know Leliana was dating the Divine!  (/Sarcasm. For those who don't know,  tryst = a meeting during a love affair.)

Anyway, I don't think Zevran was there for my final fight... I didn't get to do his quest. I was going to drop off something for the herblore task guy before I did it, and I didn't know it would force me into the final scene... Ah well. I saw Nathaniel though, I thought Grey Wardens weren't allowed to get involved in such things?

A bit sad that this has either been a glitch or Bioware deciding they don't like carrying over character choices from a previous game.  I certainly hope it's the former.

If it's the latter it reminds me of playing Dungeons and Dragons with a Dungeon Master that has their own view on how the game should end so they'll retcon, prevent, and all around screw with the story until their ending becomes truth.

EDIT: I still love you Bioware, but there have been several of these issues with this game.

Yeah, I had some help from Zevran in the final battle, too. Pretty cool, albeit also fairly ineffectual. There isn't a whole lot you can do with a pair of daggers against a platoon of GIANT LIVING STATUES.

I saw him too, he really was kind of quiet about the whole battle.

He just kind of appeared during the fight and then disappeared immediately afterwords, but I suppose that's what being an assassin is all about.

LOL I did not see him in the battle myself, but that is hilarious! I love that guy.
