Varric's specialist class has three routes, which branches to three skills: precision, speed and power. The description said that the three skills cannot all be used at once with each other, and only one of them can be used. But when I put points into precision and speed, I was able to use both. The question is does the effect still apply to varric or does the game make is so that it applies only one of the two skills, precision and speed, even though you have both skills activated.

I found out that you can only use one of the three skills if you don't activate the skills consecutively and immediately right after another. In other words, you can activate more than one of varic's three skills. precision, speed, and power, if you activate all skills consecutively while varric is on one of the animations of using one of the three skill. If I were to have precision and speed activated even though the game's intention is to not allow it. Do I still get both buffs?

Wow, I just tried it. Thats definately a bug. And they do stack. I'm getting a 30% boost in attack from having Precision(unupgraded) + Speed with the Harmony passive.

Yea, I couldn't confirm it because I couldn't check my attack speed, but I was able to check my precision skill buff, which increases attack and criticial damage.

Bug confirmed, although, i hope they can be kept. It's an awesome stack the rogue probably needs.

Easy fix just remove power/speed from each other's description?

It's a general rogue tree, not just Varric.
But that's probably a bug, yeah.
