How can I get Lightmapper and Generate VO to see these directories? My input directory path is "C:\\Users\\[Username]\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\DALightmap\\[Name of Item to Render]\\[Some Temp Directory]". I can see these directories (I know AppData is normally hidden, but otherwise I can "see" it). But both the Lightmapper and VO Generator are unable to see the temp data that THEY are writing there. Yet I haven't seen anyone else on the DA forums with this problem at all... Frustrated...

Both my lightmap renders and generating VO fail with a return code of "1", which I know from the Lightmapper.py script is just a failed return. I think the problem is that the program isn't seeing the temp generated data from Appdata, causing the scripts to report invalid directories - even running the Lightmapper script from command line causes this problem.

Try changing your Temp directory temporarily (ha ha).
Start > Control Panel > Sytem > Advanced > Environment Variables
In the top box change TEMP to C:\\Temp or something and see what happens (remember your old location).

Hm didn't work, Toolset still wants to point to the AppData location. Unless there's a setting in Toolset somewhere to tell it where to go instead?

I had a similar problem (with the lightmapper) that I corrected by tweaking the registry. I was just lucky so I can't tell you how I dit it with precision.

ISellSigals posted an updated LightMapper Python script over here - that totally worked! The explanation was that numbers got confused in the original script going from Yafaray over to the new modified Eclipseray mapper. I've no idea where she found that script, you'd have to ask her, but it WORKED for me! Now on to more awesomeness
