[Mistaken Truths]

Right so, around the time after I finished the quest to find the templars that were conspiring with the mages, and defeating them to soon then report back to the Enchanter, I decided to do some companion quests. Finishing Haunted and Justice, I then pushed on to Merril's.

It was fine until you exit the cave after defeating the Pride demon, and I was confronted by the group. The first time I chose the wrong dialouge option and ended up killing all the dalish, just to have the quest still open in my log, and with a fine comb search of Sundermount, no way to end the quest with Merril now stuck in my group.

The second time I ended up keeping the elves from attacking, which then openned up one of Merril's "Questioning Beliefs " quests, However each time I enter her house, she has no conversation option, and the woman is -STILL- locked into my party.

Mildly annoying, looking for a fix or advise. I play a DPS Controller mage anyway and this is really screwing with my party build up for Nightmare. =/

Oh, Merril's also dissapearing whenever a fight comes around, but appearing when I am walking through the streets.

I have no solutions for you on the issue with the quest not completing, but I've been told that you can unlock someone from your party if they get stuck there by visiting the Hawke estate and then leaving.

I am having this same issue with Sebastion right now... he's locked in my party. (Though I use him normally, not having the ability to remove him is annoying).

I say that... I control him for most of the fights (so he doesn't rape my tank and so I can pick off the lower opponents, so I don't have that issue. I finished the mansion crawl mission (and a few side quests since then, not sure what I need to do to 'unlock' him.
