PC. I like DA2. I enjoy playing it.
But is it an improvement?

They've removed nearly everything that made Origins origins, they haven't even replaced many of the things with anything of worth. Including level design, puzzles, amount of codex lore, item inspect, stealing, an epic adventure with a closed ending, a decent DLC companion, replayability, talents, tactical combat and much more.

Xbox 360.
And we don't get that high-res texture pack to make even a little more bearable, and auto-attack is busted, so it's a button masher.

If it has to be so black and white - I'm going to say no. While some areas are improved, other things have been scaled back too much.
Combat and dialogue were improved, but where the game lost was in its story and character interaction, which I feel are the most important parts of an RPG game. However, I'm not going to say it's awful, horrible or the first sign of the apocalypse like some people around here. It's different from Origins in both good ways and bad ways.
And I'm on PC.

(This is not to say I didn't enjoy the game, or that everything was worse... some thing were indeed improved. Overall, though, no, it was not a total improvement.)
