 Does anyone know where you can buy the tome of physical technique? I know the elixir can be found in the dark emporium, but I haven't been able to find the tome :\\

I am not sure I will even be able to buy either one. I wasted money on potions and a few other things and I only have enough gold to give for the expedition. I think the vendors in Hightown have a Tome.

found one at the dalish in act 3

there is one at Hubert's in Act 1.

Act 1: Tome of Technique (+1 talent) : Hubert’s Fine Goods, Hightown
Act 1: Avernus's Experimental Draught (+2 Stats) : Dark Epiphany Quest, only available if you imported a DA:O save where you spared Avernus
Act 2: Greater Tome of the Mortal Vessel (+2 Stats) : Trinkets Emporium, Lowtown
Act 2: Tome of Technique (+1 Talent) : Ilen's Crafts, Sundermount
Act 3: Arcane Tome of the Mortal Vessel (+1 Stat) : Korval’s Blades, Hightown
Black Emporium: Tome of Technique (+1 talent)
Black Emporium: Greater Tome of the Mortal Vessel (+2 Stats)
Black Emporium: Greater Elixer of the Mortal Vessel (+2 Stats)
Black Emporium: Elixir of Arcane Technique (+1 talent, Mages only)
Black Emporium: Elixir of Physical Technique (+1 talent, Warrior/Rogues only)

The tomes from Black Emporium that ColGali mention arrive to your Uncle's house special stash.

Interestingly, only the potions from the Emporium can be used on companions.
