I think I am about to go to the Deep Roads as I have 55 G and looks like only 2 main quests left, one being the DR exp. I noticed for about 25 or so gold there are a few tomes floating around. I guess they are for technique points. Will they be gone after I go the deep roads? I cant buy them cause then I wouldn't have enough gold to go on the expedition. Did anyone else face this. Thanks.
Will I miss the Tomes?

I also noticed that and am wondering the same. I wanted to buy one of the tomes and it was 22G plus; I am only at 30G. So what are we to do? Thanx for starting the thread.

Black Emporium is the only store to keep all its inventory the same throughout the game.
Also: If you do lack funds by doing random quest, there is a 2nd way to get it.. visit your hours when youa re done all non DR quests.

I have Shepards Wolves and the DR exped quests left in act 1 and I have never gotten a letter. I may buy the 22 G tome from my mining partner (whatever his name) and see if I get the letter from the dwarf. I will be saving first of course.

Went to the deep roads. I took the deal for the 50 and bought the tomes. Think I went to the DR with 10 gold or so. Oh well. On I go.
