Bethany joined the grey wardens, so she was the kidnapped victim. I rescue her, but I don't get to talk to her? No letter from her back at the estate...just zero communication. Just seems weird.
Is there any dialogue what so ever if its your romance option that is kidnapped instead?

For some reason they kidnapped Anders on my first playthrough even though my love interest was Merril. He just said he never saw himself as being a damsel in distress and left.
