The cheat "runscript supercrit player" (without quotes) does not work. I do have the cheat console enabled properly and other cheats can be activated without issue.
Have any of you tried this cheat and it truly worked for you?

No idea, have you tried runscript zz_supercrit player? I see no script named just "supercrit", only "zz_supercrit"...

Actually, it was a serious question. I'm curious what you are trying to accomplish. A solo run through? That might not be doable on easy mode, but then again it might be depending on what you play. They did make easy easier, after all.
Are you trying to do a solo run through on Nightmare?
If you make it so you absolutely can't die, doesn't that just make it a waste of time? Figure out how to code it, then play through 80 hours of click, snooze, click? The accomplishment is in the coding, not the play.
What are you thinking, really?

Well, I can see the use of that cheatscript for debugging purposes (Which is probably why it's in the _Debug folder 
).

If you truly meant it as a serious question, then here is my serious answer.
I am now trying to play the game through on Nightmare difficulty and simply wanted to activate the cheat.
What is a waste of time to you doesn't necessarily mean it will be a waste of time to others.
