Last night, I got through the caverns under the Harimann estate, and then when I tried to zone back into the Harimann estate cellar, the cutscene with the Harimann children started to launch, and then my game crashed.
So, I reloaded my savegame from the caverns, and tried zoning into the Harimann estate again, and it crashed while trying to zone. Tried this several times and would always crash while trying to load the Harimann estate.
So then I reinstalled DA2, thinking perhaps there was a error with the Harimann estate files. It didn't help. Game would still crash when I tried to load back into the Harimann estate from the caverns.
Then I reverted to an earlier savegame, after picking up Sebastian at the cathedral. Computer locked up upon trying to load into the Harimann estate from Hightown. After about 10 minutes, I was finally able to ctrl-alt-delete out of the game. Went to bed disgusted.
Tried it again this morning and actually managed to zone into the Harimann estate, but things were extremely laggy, so I made a new save, restarted my computer, and tried to load the save from inside the Harimann estate. Computer froze, requiring manual reset.
I guess I'll just continue my playthrough without doing Sebastian's quest at this point, but I worry about not being able to progress to Act 3 if that happens. I know in Act 1 I couldn't move on to the Deep Roads unless I had finished off my active quests. Will I have the same problem when I complete the rest of Act 2?

You won't be able to do his quest in act 3 either, i tried and the game gets an error. Same like with the mansion, you can get in all right but at some point the quests bug the game or so and you can't return to that safe or place. At least for me, perhaps we can get someone to give us an answer soon

For now, I went back to a save that was before I took the Harimann estate quest, which hopefully will still enable me to complete the act. Everything else works fine and I'm proceeding through Act 2 nicely.
I'm just worried that this will prevent me proceeding on to act 3. I would disable to Exiled Prince DLC but I can't seem to find an option to do that.

I'm pretty much having the same problem. I managed to finally get into the mansion and finish up in there... but when I try to get out again, the game crashes on the loading screen.
It's a shame, really. I'd really like to finish Sebastian's quest. =(

I wonder if this has something to do with the 1.01 patch? Because I played through that quest on my "ironman" playthrough when I couldn't save before the patch came out and had no difficulties.
I may try to uninstall and reinstall without the patch, play through that quest, then install the patch again.

Can anyone who has 1.01 confirm that they can successfully go through Sebastian's content without crashing? We'll look in to it internally but I figure I may as well ask and try to save a bit of time.

Just as an aside, I don't have the beta 1.01 and it has crashed on me twice. Both times during the cutscene with Flora after you come back into the cellar. Restarting the game let it proceed both times. During my crashes the sound stuttered before the CTD. Don't know if it's related to what the others are experiencing, but it hasn't crashed upon zoning.

When it first froze for me it was during the cutscene coming back from the celler too, now it freezes has soon as I start to zone out or when I do the autosave after zoning out. No sound shuttering and restarting hasn't worked for me though
Note: I have 1.01 patch

You can get all the way until Aveline is standing in front of the Qunari compound and asks you if you're ready. This is the start of the ending sequence for Act 2.

I noticed that the loading bug doesn't only happen after fighting the demons and zoning out, I had an auto save before fighting the demons, so i backtracked to the entrance of the ruins and it froze also so i think there's a bug in the entire quest, just not that single part.

Could it be a problem with trying to load into DLC zones in general? Because I've been having a lot of trouble today loading characters that were saved in the Black Emporium (trying to create some new faces.)
A couple times it crashed when I tried to load up (just like in the Harimann estate) and other times it would just freeze on the loading screen.
I could load a character saved in the Black Emporium maybe one in five attempts.

I have exactly the same issue. Game crashed/froze when I tried to leave the Area after fighting the Demons.

i have a similar problem but mine is with the cutscene just after being attacked by bloodmages in the Faith quest, where u meet the Devine(who looks alot like Leliana from DA) when i Try to thank her for the help i get the error and a crash.

Well, now I started again with my act 2 beginning savegame. I decided to visit the Dark Emoprium first...same problem --> crash. So i reloaded and did those "speak to" quests. After completing all of them I tried to enter the Emporium again and there was no problem. Maybe I just have to go to Hariman's Estate at the right time ^^

My game also CTD after the battle with the blood mages in the throne room. I got to Act 3 before I broke down and got the Exiled Prince, so I'm not sure if it pertains to which Act it's in, or just a bug with the DLC.
PS - that's not the Divine, it's her agent "Sister Nightingale", and yes, Lady1Aph, it is indeed Leliana, in badass black armor no less.

Crashed for me in the repentance quest as well. First time it crashed was when I entered the room before fighting the mage, then it crashed the second time right after i killed the mages and the cut scene began

Before applying patch 1.01 the game crashed during repentance as soon as it tried to load the scene in the bedroom with the elf/human couple.
I then applied the patch and continued play. That cutscene played fine but the game crashed a moment later as I was heading down the stairs, almost at the plot arrow, I assume there's another cutscene there but haven't yet loaded it up again to check.

The more I think about this, the more I think it's a problem with both zones related to both DLC.
