Homophobia is entirely unacceptable on these forums. If you're unable to respond to things in a respectful way, you will not be welcome here anymore.
So in this game marketed towards the "Call of Duty" crowd Bioware thought it was a good idea fill the game with as much homosexuality as possible. Let's not forget the average age of the Call of Duty crowd ranges from 8-15 years old.
Feel free to copy/paste this post into any topic you please. Bioware has shown it has no problem with copy/pasting with the release of DA2.
ahh i pity you. It was hardly targeted towards the call of duty crowd, The game had complex decisions that would make anyone struggle. What ure doing tho is complaining about it being put in your face.... If u want homosexuality to occur its ure choice in the game. So in the greatest respect shut the F**k up
Actually, BioWare stated that they want the COD crowd, you lose, and with the greatest respect, you can shut the F**k up.

No, you weren't right. DA2 was a great game that stands next to DA:O on my collection of games, is it better than DA:O, no, does it make combat fun, to me yes.
Anyway, I can't defend this game anyway. I'm playing it right now

Recycled content
GTA like cinematics
Extremely short main story
The side quest were improved big time but they had to be as they are the bulk of the game now, as a game DA2 is fun as a sequel to origins it's pretty embarrassing

This is Amazon's biggest movers and shakers in video games over the past 24 hours. Top 100. Dragon Age 2 isn't even listed. Want to tell me DA:O wasn't either so soon after release? Bull! To make matters worse, there are games that have been out a while listed.
http://www.amazon.co...rs/videogames#1
Ya know
1 amazon had a bunch of no lifers sabotage the rating just cause they didnt like the game (read the forums and you would of seen the post was around 2 days ago)
2 Amazon wasnt a main seller, Consoles got it cheaper in the stores and from other websites and the pc players got it from steam. Amazon was just another minor provider whos price failed misrably.
3 past 24 hours A LOT of people bought the preorder which was out friday or tuesday depending where in the world u lived.
You really think Amazon's pattern is different from other retailers other than Steam? You're delusional.
Try this:
http://www.amazon.co...lers/videogames
Best appearance was the xbox version. It debuted at 14, is now close to 30 and dropping. PC version is waaay down. This didn't happen with DA:O, even with the preorders.
Not everyone preorders. They wait, see what other people think and then buy. That was a huge reason for the success of DA:O and a huge reason why DA 2 is seeing bad sales numbers.
Steam had the preorder offer with the bonus content. And was wayyyy cheaper than amazon. U'd have to be mental to buy it from their. Anyway whats your point. Dont like the game make a comment on what u want to improve not point out 1 stores sale details.

It seems like half the people are angry that it didnt have the half and odd 1000 spells and equipment. The rest seem to be complaining at the mear fact its a so called "sell out" What people have to realise is that it was never going to be the same as origins. 6 years in development, you want another game like that? then go out buy the game support bioware then they might have the funds to do another like that, the game development nearly bankrupted the company. I've played every single bioware game/dlc out their. The writing on this was some of the best, decisions you made had more drastic effects not just for the plot but the charactors around you. The graphics were sensational especially with direct x11. Half of this moaning is from people who havent completed the game yet, I remember with origins it was the same, i hated the first 3 hours but like origins i got around act 2 in dragon age 2 and loved it.
Dragon age 2 was far from a failure it is a great game and all your doing with ya moaning is damaging the reputation of a great company that makes some of the best games out their. I cannot wait for the next installment, just hope all the people that moan and dont actually help by giving out details on what they can improve grow up and face the facts.
By the way continue moaning and bioware will end up like infinity ward.
End up like Infinity ward? They are already there dude.
Register a game and prove u've played a bioware game. Then talk.
My games are registered on EA, btw, just because people dont register their games doesnt mean they havent played them, not everyone registers it on PSN and XBL because you dont have too, and DLC can be bought via disc, thats how I got mine so get a life. Ive got over 100 hours easy in origins and im at the 20 hour mark on DA2, and what Bioware has done with the DA series is exactly what happened to Call of duty.
Sorry did you just tell me to get a life and then say u've got over 100 hours easy on origins......

They said they wanted to make the combat more exciting and more appealing. Not to appeal just to one game community. The game in the end is an RPG not a FPS

Mmm ill agree to the recycled content and i do miss the finishing moves but it was never a direct sequel as it didnt follow the wardens story. Dragon age 2 needed a sub title as a guy said earlier. Dragon age 2 sounds like its a sequel but it follows a completly diffrent story line

So. So. Wrong.
Steam had no Signature Edition.
Steam is £30.
Amazon had the SE for £25
Amazon currently sell the standard edition for £28
I didn't care for the SE, and paid a premium for the Steam version.

Wow. Your immature.
Also, failure is subjective, and I want to see sales reports before I make that suggestion.
Failing doesn't meant the game is bad either. Remeber that.

I think this game won't enjoy the same success like Mass Effect 2 or DA:O. Metacritic's and Gamerankings' scores of reviewers and gamers say for itself.
Reviews don't matter anymore especially scores, the only people who care about scores are publishers, trolls, and fanboys. As for your prediction
Mass Effect 2 sold like 2 million copies (pre PS3 copy)
Dragon Age sold like 3.2 million copies
Dragon Age 2 expectations are 4.2 million
HULIQ projects sales of Dragon Age 2 will reach 3.25 million in
six months and 4.5 million in twelve months. For comparison purposes,
Wedbush Securities analysts Michael Pachter shared his firm’s
prediction, which is 2.5 million units in the first six months
we'll see.
