Hi,

I found this bug unintentionally and I think that it requires an inmediate fix.

If character A has learned a skill X that character B has not yet learned character B should not be able to cast that skill.

However, if you click and maintain/move the skill X in the action bar of A and at the same time you press F1-F2-F3... (character selection shortcuts), then the skill X becomes available for the other character B. I have tested this with hexagonal skills (maintained modes). This works even with character classes that could never execute that skill.

For example, my primary char (rogue) has the Precision hexagonal skill learned. By pressing this skill (don't release the left mouse button) and pressing F2 at the same time (selects Merrin the mage) Precision becomes available to Merrin.

This completely brakes the gameplay. Please, fix it.

Thanks

That's obvious! Thanks. It is a bug anyway and I am just reporting it. If someone knows a better thread/way of reporting bugs please let me know.

Thanks

actually for mages this kinda makes sense...
mage 1 teaches mage 2 to cast spell.. but it costs double the mana... would be a nice little bonus for mages on nightmare.

Nothing like prepering for quanari which according to lore are damaged by fire and lightning.... only to find your 3 mage fire and lighting party facing off agasint around 20 qunari who want to kill you cause you helped a one of there mages and they are immune to all your attacks...

Good job bioware... Good job.

It almost matches the fact Blood Magic in DA2 requires demons while Da1 States Specificly Blood magic is the only magic that doesnt touch the fade and that Creatures of the fade DONT LIKE IT because they dont understand it.

The appropriate technical help areas would be a better place to report bugs.  A better way of reporting would be to avoid hyperbole (e.g. "completely breaks gameplay" and multiple exclamation marks).

Thanks for the tip, this game does a lot of frustrating things like ranged attackers that can lock you down until you die, rogues with a thousand HP that one shot you without any way to stop them, bosses that take 1 hour to kill, so any chance to screw with the game is welcome!

That's true. It's not an urgent bug as far as the game doesn't force you to meet it. What I was trying to convey is that this bug should be fixed to avoid cheating. We are talking about allowing any class to execute any skill and you don't have to do any super-complicated-keystroke-combination to meet this. When I discovered it I was just reorganizing the skills in the action bar.

Another bug I've discovered is the rune that gave me +7 to all stats. On my rogue, I put it in all my armor, and did not receive corresponding stats! I figured it was too good to be true, having +7 to all stats in every piece of equipment felt a little overpowered, I figured it scaled like others, I think it does, it just said it was always +7 for my Rogue.

Ps3 user. Cannot bug armor. Ain't even mad.

The bug should only be a problem if you can't deactivate the skill imo. Would be interesting to /personalize/ a character with skills from different things. Make Merril a buff ****/ blood mage giving her the buff from the creation tree!
