Well, I'm not sure if this is the right place, but eh.
When playing Dragon Age II, I had been planning on using my custom endgame save to run through the game, but when I had reached the character creation/history selector, I could not use my DA:O save (which had been ran through Origins, Awakening, Witch Hunt, and the Golems of Amgarrak). I had installed DA:O on a different drive (Data:D) on my computer, and installed Dragon Age II on my default drive (OS:C). I am running this on Windows 7, if anyone can help me out with this? I really wanted to be able to use my save for this, and I felt bad that I couldn't solve this problem on my own.

Your best bet for windows 7 is to do the same thing I had to do. That was make a folder in the following path(the ****=username). The game should allow you to import it then.
C:\\Users\\*****\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Characters
C:\\Users\\*****\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Characters

In DA:O, are you able to load any save? Just FYI, DA:O saves are located in My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Characters\\[character name]\\Saves.

Alright thanks for the help. Lumil, your method worked. Thanks for the help and hopefully this run-through will be even better than my first playthrough of DA II since it is my own world and not one prebuilt.
