It does have a little bit more of a hack n slashy "feel", especially if you play a warrior, because there is more button mashing, but it is not nearly as extreme as I think people are describing it, and I think the game would be too easy if you didn't have to remain active and just stayed still barking orders. That said, I think it would be impossible to play this game as purely hack n slash on any difficulty but casual. You MUST use some tactics, make wise choices on the upgrades you take and actions you perform, plan your battles, and tweak the tactics menus to survive this game even on normal.

If you are going to argue with me at least be coheirent. Pause & play isn't tactics. Tactics are manuevers & strategies. You are the one that needs to support evidence. I am asking for evidence & how can I prove something that isn 't there???

Case closed. I provided evidence, I'm going through with it again. You didn't provide any evidence. Granted, there are less tactics there than from Origins and it's more action but tactics still remain. You have to plan what you level your companions up with, using poisons and bombs help, directing attacks to a leader of a group is a tactic just as is avoiding the leader and coming to him last. (Although I find taking the leader down first is the best tactic)

It has more tactics than DAO. It has skill upgrades, so straightaway you have to make choices about your build. It also has cross class combos that require you to think about how the builds of your party members complement the team as a whole.

That's not tactical gameplay. That's character progression which every rpg has. Even the action ones.
