I know while said mode is active, you cannot use offensive magic, similiar to Ander's Panacea. While he can use Glyphs & Mindblast though.
So can Hawke use Force Mage Powers/Glyphs/Mindblast, etc.. while in that role? I ask because I don't want to have crybaby around on my second play session, would rather play Varric or something, while Hawke handles the CC+Heals.
Does anyone know if Force Mage powers are useable while in Spirit Healer mode?

You are able to perform force spells. Force is not technically an offensive ability. It does not cause actual physical damage, just simply tosses one back. If you do go that route of being support for Hawke. I suggest including offensive as well. You'll be able to switch between the two. Force mage is a decent spec, it really depends how your building the team. I wouldn't include more than one activate support character. Especially in the hard/nightmare modes.
