Viscount.

Game finished, 42 hours. Sided with Templars. Killed Anders.

Romanced Isabela.

Not viscount.

How did you become viscount, since I clearly missed it.

I did all of that and I got the trophy for Viscount. I didn't even want to be Viscount. Check your achievements.

I may sound stupid here but...

Where are achievements for the Steam version? I can't seem to find them anywhere...

Start the game, on the main menu, click Extras, then Achievements.

So you can only become Viscount if you sided with the Templars, correct?

I was shocked when I became Viscount. And Isabela stayed with me? I was sure she'd end up sailing around.

No problem, I'm happy to help.

I actually wanted to be Viscount (spoiled myself early on with looking at the achievements a couple of months ago) .

But ended up siding with the mages.

I see.

I sided with the Templars, was going to side with the Mages until the end and the whole deal with Anders and remembering my Mother changed my mind. (I was a Warrior)

In my future playthroughs, on a Mage I will side with the Mages (duh!) and on my Rogue and Archer Rogue I am not decided on what is my personal preference, since both are bad... I guess Templars since everyone dies regardless, the First Enchanter resorts to Blood Magic, and at least the Circle being purged and Templars destroying the Mages allows the Circle to be rebuild; stronger.  Now as viscount, I can make the Circle less of a prison and more of a 'university' for Mages with Templars there as 'campus police'.
