For those fans of, quite frankly the most badass, and intriguing character since... <insert relatively badass and intriguing character here... I personally think she compares well to Kreia from KotoR2)>

So...

a) Flemeth is a major supporting partyable character in DA3. Obviously this would require a good degree of nerfing since she's so amazing. I think potentially they've already built that in: If I understand correctly, the way they portrayed her coming out of the amulet allowed for the player also to have killed her during Morrigan's friendship mission. Losing a part of herself in that fight however could have significantly weakened her, thus she can be reasonably nered down to a party character level.

ALTERNATIVELY, DA3 is a prequal, set like 900 years ago and the main character is Flemeth, starts off as a simple peasant girl, and we play her rise to myth as the Great Witch of the Wilds.
