After installing and attempting to play the game, I get this error message:

The program or feature "/??/C:/Program Files (x86)/Dragon Age 2/bin_ship/DragonAge2.exe" cannot start or run due to incompatibility with 64 bit versions of Windows. Please contact the sofware vendor to ask if a 64-bit Windows compatible version is available.

Also, if I try and adjust anything and click play again, nothing happens. I click the play button over and over but the game will not launch. So I keep haveing to uninstall it whenever I want to try something new.
I am using Windows Vista 64 bit.
My game is a hard disk version. (not a digital download)
To my knowledge, my computer meets and exceeds all of the hardware requirements.

This is getting really frustrating.... I have been trying everying I can possibly think of. I updated all of my drivers, updated windows vista to service pack 2, updated my bios, tried running in xp service pack 2 compatibility mode... nothing has worked. I have done some google searches and have a couple of limited threads, but nothing on there solved my problem.

Anybody have any solutions to this problem?

Another bit of info: I played the original Dragon Age on this same computer with no issues.

I just tried installing it in the "program files" folder instead of the "program files (x86)" folder. Didn't work either.

I have seriously tried almost everything. Should I try installing the beta patch?
