Quick question about a bug (maybe?) at the ending...
I romanced Merrill, finished all quests and got the achievement at the gallows. However, after beating Meredith, in the final cutscene Varrick mentions all companions had to leave, "except Isabela."
Is this a bug? I would assume Hawke's romantic interest would remain at his side and be mentioned in the epilogue.

Yep, known bug. Take the freebie from Isabella, and any further romance with Merrill is wiped from the annals of history.
Also, out of curiousity, did you get the "Merrill crying about keeper" cutscene at the correct time? or right at the beginning of the act like I did?

:/ bugs. Oh well. To answer your question, I did get the cut scene out of order (another known bug) at the beginning of the act but didn't have to use to use the console get the actual quest it related to it (it triggered later on). It didn't affect the actual romance sequence but maybe it had something to do with the bugged ending? I have no idea.
