I wrote some bad code and tried to compile it and got a "no right bracked on expression" error from the compiler.
I went back and corrected the mistake, but kept getting the error. I even deleted everything in the script and still got the message. If I rename the script, it compiles fine, but anything that I give the name of the non-compiling script to won't compile.
I tried restarting the toolset and my computer.
Any thoughts?
script won't compule under one name but will under another.

it was my .hak file. The script is a modified spell script and I put copies of those in a .hak file. The compiler must have been reading the .hak version instead of the version I had edited. Once I cleared the script out of my .hak file, it compiled fine.

Also mind your #includes. If you rename a script file, the compiler will no longer be able to find it.

Good advice, thanks.
