I'm really stuck at this point. I'm playing on hard difficulty, my party is me (mage, mainly primal), Aveline, Anders and Varric.
At the end, you fight the qunari leader along with a huge army of those and one of their "mages" of whatever that is. I always get my ass kicked, there's just too many of them plus they keep throwing spears and when that mage joins in, I'm completely doomed and there's more than a half of them still remaining.

Any tips or strategies? My whole party is lvl 9.

There's a couple ways you can do it. One is running out of the caverns a good distance away. This sorta breaks the encounter because you leave combat between waves of adds. The second way, which is what I did, is to quickly focus down the adds until the Sarrebas spawns. Kill him using cross-class combos or whatever you have, but keep him from casting. Once he dies, the main threat is gone and you should be good.
