And I am sure some people think so highly of themselves even though it is a single player game. That takes no skill.

Was that suppose to hurt or even be relevant?

Could ask the same about your comment before that one. I think all he meant was that since it's a single player game that using a different strategy than someone else isn't hurting anyone.

My previous comment was about Ander's potential not some psychotic evaluation over a forum post.

Does anyone know if Panacea is bugged in the same way that Healing Aura is in terms of leaving it on for super regen?

I really don't think its that good at all.. In tactics I set it so it only appears when healing or reviving is necessary and it turns off when his magic is low.

Both of the spells that can only be cast when panacea is on are both highly important so I guess you have to deal with it :/

However putting anders skills, regroup and aid allies on the tactics will make him cast those two without the need of Panacea.
Also Not sure if it matters but i also set his tactics to Self any: panacea off. and he effectively enough casts those spells w/o panacea

That's hilarious!!! I wonder if that works for blood mage abilities?

I noticed this too. And no, that doesn't matter, he will cast those spells even if there's no mention to Panacea (one way or another) on his tactics. It shouldn't work, though, so we can call it a bug.

I find Panacea useless. I honestly don't know how good the regeneration is because the radius is sooo small. Two steps away and you're outside its radius, I don't want to walk hand in hand with Anders in every fight. And 40% mana is a lot. And you can't cast offensive spells while it's active.

Maybe if the radius was expanded, it could have some use. Right now, its only use is as a requisite to cast two spells with a long cooldown.

That spell annoys me! You need to be damn close to Anders to even get the effect of Panacea, basicly if ur the tank he needs to melee beside you. Which makes it utterly useless against boss's and their stun/push/knockbacks!.

And yup, if the radius would just be a tad larger then maybe it would actually make a different.

The thing that kills Panacea is the range....I think a 6m diameter?

How are you suppose heal tanks while standing back 20m away? To get the tank and the close range dps to benefit from Panacea, Anders has to get pretty close to the action in which case he just gets demolished anyway...

So, I've got Anders tagging along as a healer, and I keep Panacea up all the time. I do, however, get the feeling that it doesn't really do anything at all in combat, except provide a platform for Aid Allies and Regroup, neither of which I have unlocked yet. And yes, I make sure to keep my characters in range of it.

Is there really any difference between Panacea on and Panacea off?

Not really, but you'll need ito n in order to use the other abilities attached to it (like the group heal and revive)

Your best bet is to make the tactic Self> Party Members > more than two allies < 50% health or whatever number you want there, to turn it on, and set it to turn off when more than two allies have health >=90% because that is one heck of a mana reserve guzzler.
