Of course they would say that. The devs aren't going to actually say that Maric was taken by Flemeth. Anyways I gurantee Flemeth had something to do with Hawke & the Warden disappearing even if she didn't take Maric

Well, that is a good point... however I am not going to take his post for word as the devs obviously aren't going to tell his anything in terms of plot or lore that is meant to be discovered later. There is always more than people "simplying dying", hehe.

Honestly, I'm currently liking the theory that Flemeth has something to do with the disappearances of Hawke, the Warden, and Maric. For such an important character, the whole "lost at sea" thing aligns much too conveniently with the current whereabouts of the other two big heroes in Thedas.

I'm really hoping an Awakening-style expansion happens, and happens soon. Something like that needs to come along and answer something. DA2 seemed to have ME2 syndrome, in that it was so very obviously a middle entry in the plot. Giving credit where it's due, however, at least ME2 gave some answers to go along with the new questions leading up to the finale! DA2 didn't give us much in the way of overarching plot answers.

Hell, even if an expansion only gave us one good, solid answer, I'd be happy. So far, we've got some major story-related questions in regards to the Architect, Avernus, Flemeth, Morrigan, Morrigan's child, the Hawke/Warden(/Maric?) fiasco, Leliana's apparent involvement, the Qunari vowing to return, a pissed off army from Starkhaven if Anders lives, Anders' fate and involvement if he lives, what the Darkspawn/Wardens may or may not be up to, the little Mage/Templar all-out war thing, the Chantry's response to their place in Kirkwall getting blown to bits, and I'm sure there are many other loose ends I'm overlooking here.

Please give us something, Bioware!

I think Bioware has already plan everything since the start at DAO. I want to see how are they going to end the conflict b/w Templars an Mages. They BETTER! make a good ultimate ending. I need to know where is my Hawke and Warden went and what happen to them.

I don't see it being solved in an xpac or dlc. It might not even be solved by the third game, as that may occur more or less simultaneously with DA2(lest both the Warden and Hawke become old men before having a show down with Flemeth).

do you guys expect another piece of crap quality DA 3? seriously, they should stop making this garbage. how the hell DA 2 is stepped back from DAO? I don't get it. DA 2 is not even sequel. story is totally different, there is no special relationship anymore. this is a joke. I hope that DA 2 is the last one. no more dragon age. they'd better make new IP. dragon age is dying.

Wouldn't mind an expansions ot DA2 where we play as a new character. They should save the larger story for DA3, but my idea for an expansions:

You create another character. This person is a Seeker, and they join Cassandra and Leliana and continue their search for Hawke. That search eventually reveals the reason why Hawke and the Warden vanished, for those of us who didn't follow Morrigan through the Eluvian.

LOL Flemeth asked Maric the same thing Morrigan asked the Warden hero, to supply a baby Duh. And why are people saying something mysterious happened to the Warden character? Mine is sitting next to the King of Feraldan unless I missed something.

The Warden was a hero, the Champion was a hero, Maric was a hero. But they where just stories of people that where influenced by Flemeth into doing "Big" things like stop a blight and start a war between the circles and the templars. They are just tools in the big picture which is Flemeths story... Other then DLC im pretty sure the Champion and the Warden stories are over and we find out who else Flemeth and Morrigan have influenced in other countries around the same time that are also part of the master plan.

Merrill is a mashup between Tali and Liara. She has more Liara in her than Tali, I daresay.

Anyway the ending is meant as a cliff hanger for more DLC, definitely.

Dragon Age isnt a story about a Warden or about a Champion its about the game world where this all takes place. Its a sequel in the sense is about the same game world and major events that effect it. Dragon Age isnt dying just because you fell in love with your Warden character and its chapter is over. You dont know the "Big Picture" Bioware is painting with the Dragon Age universe because its isnt complete yet.

Chapter 1 was about the blight 

Chapter 2 was about the circle tower and the templars going to war and perhaps the fall of the chanty (likely with a expansion it will be concluded)

Chapter 3 *Im guessing either another Warden/Champion type story on someone else totally new OR a conclusion of where the story of the champion and wardens crosses paths (withouot them being in it just the results of there actions and Flemeths real plot is exposed)"
