Hehe.  Fair enough.  Perhaps omniscient isn't the right word.  He knows all the secrets of anyone you can bring to him though, and assuming he's truthful about what he is, I'd think he'd know better than any other source we've seen whether Andraste will return.  He doesn't even say she'll only return if humanity atones or some such, he just flatly says "Andraste will not return."

Thats not true!!! The chantry has come out with a new study! The Guardian really said, Andreste will only return if her Chant of Light is sang from the four corners of the world!

I'm thinking either Sandal is possed or he is the reincarnation of some ancient and power being. Or maybe a mixture of the two.

anyone thought that the frozen ogre was just done by a random other character, maybe an awakened darkspawn, maybe a warden, maybe flemeth teleported saved him then vanished. "Not Enchantment means it could be ANYTHING, hey maybe sandal can create freeze traps, maybe he's from the future and carries a freeze ray...
I think sandal has a connection to the fade, and it's this that gives him his prophetic abilities, but the frozen ogre was actually him being saved by someone or something, I think that's better than him being a dwarven mage. I don't know why, but a dwarf throwing fireball's doesn't sit right in my head, I'd expect them to set their beards alight.

Or freeze their beards, i never thought it may not have been sandal who did it. That just wrecks my head even more. Although since sandal was found in the deep roads at first he can obviously take care of himself to have survived. Im sure freezing an orge is wee buns to him.

Maybe, Sandal has an invisible guardian, or a small rodent or insect living in his clothes, that is possessed, I'm gonna call sandal's protector ....Sandalamander. or maybe just Gandal....f
   But I'm surprised no one thought of sandal being saved by someone else, I just thought "not enchantment" could mean someone else did it, as it appearswhatever Sandal does is accompanied by "enchantment" almost as though that's his name....
  I do that too, but I don't have the super special invisible protector....
