I just used Maker's Sigh to ReSpec Hawke and he kept Death Syphon and Walking Bomb. Anyone have had this happen?
While I was considering getting those spells again latter, I don't like to use exploits when I can.
ReSpec bugged???

Someone mentioned it might have to do with it being in tactics or on the skill bar still. There was also another post saying you could use any skill on your skill bar, even if you didn't have it. So I would try clearing both the skill bar and tactics before using the respec potion.

The only glitch I have encountered with this is: being able to learn all three specializations.

I had it happen to me as well. Elemental Weapons stuck around. Respecs are so cheap that I'll fix it soon enough.

how many points do you really have? Because after couple of respecs, I have around 30 and 3 specialisation points and that doesnt feel right

Got the same problem here. Suddenly I had half the Sword and Shield tree together with Warmonger. I had those on my first build before I switched to a Two-Handed tanking build. It's happened twice no and quite frankly it's fracking annoying. Oh and I also have 5 specialization points..

I just ReSpeced again and the two Spirit Spells gave me 2 extra Spells and I still had them. I also kept my Spirit Healer spec and the Passive too.
This is ridiculous.

Yeah, I had this happen too when I respeced from SnB to 2H. I didn't realize I'd picked up an extra talent point until a couple of levels later. So I respeced again to remove the bonus talent point and I got a second extra talent point. Given that I apparently missed a lot of act 1 quests and having to deal with a constant level up indicator, I just restarted.

I have been getting all three spec points as well. I have had a sneaking suspicion that respeccing adds talent points to your total too. After switching between dagger and archer about 5 times, I found it was no longer necessary because I had 36 talent points and was able to spec into both daggers and Bows fully.
Another odd thing about rogues I have noticed is that melee attacks with a bow equipped seem to use the bow's dps for determining damage in a way that makes it preferable to just equip a bow and attack from melee range for most of the game if you want to play daggers.
This is due to the availability of very strong bows early on from the emporium, whereas there are no strong daggers there.
