she's got a exclimation point over her head, and nothing happens. i haven't romanced her fully yet since i haven't gotten the achievment so anyone know what the deal is? i'm out of quests too and haven't gotten the quest to get her second gift, what gives?

Seems to be a bug. Happened on my first playthrough as well when romancing Merrill. Never took any of Isabela's romance options even when she came to the Hawke estate at night in Act 2. She just shows up and stands by the mail/letter book with a quest marker above her but there is no action when you try to speak with her.

I think someone had said that for companion interactions in the homes, even if an LI has moved in with you, you still have to go back to "their house" for conversations.

Try clicking on the dog she might be going to interact with him. I had one companion visit with exclamation mark over their head but couldn't get a convo out of them and then I clicked on the dog and they had a scene with the mabari. I can't remember if it was Isabella or Sebastion though.
