i didnt bring bethany with me and she got taken to the ciricle. either
way you cant freaking use her anymore =.=.. its so stupid
so you ether lose her or she dies.
slight spoiler:i HATE when games give you "alternate" decisions that lead to the same result

Actually if you take her and Anders to the Deep Roads. you can make her a Grey Warden. She still leaves, but rejoins you later for the final battle.

If she goes to the Circle and you support the mages, she joins you then, too.
Really, we were forced to have a mage in the family (if we were not one) so we'd have some personal stake in this outcome, right? And yet, the mage in the family is missing for most of the game.
Good hook there, Bioware.

There are lots of situations where the illusion of choice exists.
Cave of blood mages, 1 always survives and later kills a templar with blood magic, no matter how you do it.
You can turn Anders down in dialog but he joins anyway cause its the main mission...and plot.
When you load your DA:O save it lists the key plot summaries, many wich never gets mentioned in the game at all.
Your brother/sister always backs you up in the end no matter how you treat them..
