I have an NA copy of DA2 and I am unable to import my saved data from DA:O, which I understand is because of the different regions of the disks. In order to get around this I am considering two options.
1) swap my DA2 for an EU/PAL copy and import my saves as needed and all is right with the world
or
2) buy an NA copy of DA:O and replay it and then import that save instead.
My concerns/questions are:
1) I swap my game for an EU/PAL one and it doesn't work. If i delete all the DA2 game data though and start from scratch, it should work right?
2) If I buy an NA copy of DA:O will my EU DLC still work? If not option 1 is the way to go I think because I don't want to have to buy all my DLC again -.-
Probably a lot of messing around just to get my saves to import, but I don't want to wait until DA3 comes out (i know that's ages away, but wanna be prepared!) and I won't have my story/decisions or even my warden if they put that in.
Long story short! Help me!!! xD
PS: I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I wasn't sure. I posted in general and got no responsed so I thought I'd try here.
Question about DLC and regions!

I've recently been doing the same thing. I can answer 2 from research -- DLC is region-locked -- you need to have a US PSN account to get NA DLC. I think your concern for 1 shouldn't happen, but I'm not quite sure.

I just gave in and ordered an EU copy. I can always send it back. Thanks for the response ^^
