I still can't believe how many people are having upload issues with their characters and yet still no real response from the mods on this board.

But wait maybe there are responses but we will never know because they can't have a functioning search tool for the forums.

Answer this question...ANYONE WHO CAN PLEASE.
I believe your character picture wont upload unless you were actually online  and logged in at the time of your characters creation.  Meaning if you were not online or logged in at the time of your characters conception then the pic of him/her is not being uploaded........WHY IS THIS?

This makes no sense if you can see your character and you change armour then the armour changes in his pic...that would mean to me that if you were not logged in upon creation you would still be able to have your pic upload the next time you logged in.....right?

Next if I send an email to the mods and it says turn around time for email response is 24 to 48 hours then maybe you should atleast try to respond within a weeks time.  I asked this question very calmly and politely with no response.

This whole social site thing could be awesome, it is a good way to bring a non-MMO to the internet and join people to have an extra added piece of fun....but when it doesn't work and you have morons at the helm who can not communicate then what do you have just a big pile of .....well you know.

Fix the search feature
Fix the character image upload
Fix the upload times
REPLACE THE MODS!

I would answer your question but clearly it's not directed at me.

I do wonder why you bother posting at all if you don't think anyone is going to answer anyway.

I post because I have already sent to many emails to just quit now. I wrote this one this way because the mods don't answer emails that are worded politely and concisely.
You say the question isn't directed at YOU? So you don't fall under the term "anyone"?  So does that mean you are "no one"?  Look at paragraph three it says pretty clearly "Anyone".

I would love an answer or a work around...but you seem to have the same attitude that most mods have on here...you act like you are superior and we are all just a bunch of jokers who don't rate for an answer to be given...just answer the question in paragraph three for the sake of all of us looking for this answer, there are many people who are looking.

And being rude helps?

Just in case you e-mailed EA, although they are hosting this site it is BioWare that maintains it. EA can't assist with technical problems here whether they want to or not. It also seems not many are getting responses on written correspondences to EA but that phone support gets the job done. Blatantly violating a proclaimed response time expectancy obviously isn't good, but these boards are primarily user-to-user, not user-to-developer.

That was more a tongue in cheek response to the general attitude of your post, and all the others like it. I do not see how not getting a reply from a moderator or a developer somehow justifies jackassery.

The answer is that you're wrong. Character data is supposed to synchronize regularly given a couple of conditions (uploading enabled, for one). It works correctly, albeit with some delay, for a whole lot of people. Unfortunately, there are some people (in particular Xbox users) who are experiencing problems, and there is no known work-around.

Nah. I'm not a moderator so I'm allowed to be more snarky.

Well, thanks for the detailed response. I can appreciate the "snarky" response to the "jackassery" as you put it. I wouldn't say jackass however as since I am a paying customer and this is the digital age I would expect a slightly better response and a slightly better functioning website. The amount of posts and questions on these boards is, I would say, quite embarrassing for the Mods.

By the way I'm not wrong I would say I'm right you confirmed there is no work around for a character pic not coming across. By the way I am not on the XBOX I am on PS3.

My main thing is, is this a problem that is going to be rectified any time soon. That is the question that many of others and myself have.
