If the Import bugs can't be corrected in existing saves then I don't want to play until the next patch because I want to treat my first play through, assuming the game is good enough to play multiple times, as the true story or "what really happened."
Hopefully the import bugs will get completely fixed within the next month or so.

From everything we've gathered, the issue is being caused by importing from DAO>DAA>DA2. If you have imported from DAA there is still going to be issues in the newest patch. If you imported from DAO they should all be fixed (though I think there is 1 zevran issue outstanding).
We're currently looking in to way to address the problems from DAO > DAA within DA2 (ie. not forcing you to patch daa and reimport and replay it)
[to clarify, anything imported after DAA, such as Witch Hunt or Golems, will have this issue]
I apologize, the final statement confuses me a bit, is this intended to be addressed in the next patch or not, and is it integral that this carries over in whatever DLC sequel that comes next?

I mean, it's not like the Conrad import glitch in ME2, that one was very minor, and it still got it right whether or not you dealt with him, just wasn't correct in talking about the WAY you went around doing it
Also it...kinda makes me worried about ME3, because we have quite a bit of DLC from ME2. Is it a different issue though? since the DLC in ME2 aren't add-ons like they are in this game?

So, in the end, the only importing "error" that happened is with leliana. However...it really doesn't seem like an error other than the fact that she doesn't call my warden "her dearest"...but if she was talking to Hawke about him why would she have to say that? it makes sense either way that a romance could have happened even if she just says that she hasn't seen him in years

I assumed that stuff like this fell under "fixes to story scripting errors".zapkeet wrote...
Gonna bump this
Is this issue fixed with the new patch?
I hope Zevran's romance flags are fixed. When he acknowledges the romance at all, he acts like the warden is dead, and more often than not he just doesn't mention them.
I hope the alive/dead import check for Zevran is fixed. I had only 1 warden romance him once, and it was just for the achievement, so I'm not heavily invested in whether he recognizes the romance or not. Disagreements aside, the import issues are annoying, and if these are fixed I could tolerate everything else.

The patch fixed Origins imports? Because when I imported a file straight from Origins to DA2, I could not get any Alistair romance dialogue (in an Alistair as GW ending). Did the patch fix this, or are you saying that importing from Origins should have worked in the first place before the patch?
