I just finished my first playthrough and was romancing Fenris this time around.  The last real conversation I had with him was right after the, uh, "bedroom" scene.  He tells me that he doesn't think he can do "this" and I try to convince him we can make it work but it doesn't really end up being resolved.  From that point I had always figured that there would be some solution or some kind of closure later on but it never came.  This left me feeling like I missed something.  According to Varric's story Fenris still stayed with me while my other companions left but I can't help but shake the feeling that there was supposed to be something more.
