I haven't found a worthwhile upgrade since Allure's Crook.... I'm in Act III now and there's 1 I've found that's comparable but nothing stellar.  Where are they all?

If you complete the qunari sword quest without asking for money, you get a good one for completing the quest. It's a fire staff with extra damage against humans.

The best staff in the game is The Final Thought. Although, the staff you get from Orsino is also pretty nice.
