I would like to apologize. To Bioware.

Maselphie, I disagree. Register and play the first game and then play the second and you will concur with many of those who dislike the second game. The first game I played through 5 times. The sequel, I can barely bring myself to try a second time through. It's too streamlined. The talents/specs were done well, but the story, overall - sucks as a narrative. Also no matter your choices you still get the same basic outcomes. Screw that.

Bethany's death was so badly executed, I snapped the disc in half.
There were plenty of emotionally wrenching moments, including other events that happen to your family (which I will not detail since this is the spoiler-free area), and...events that involve your companions. That's assuming that A) the player doesn't have a heart of stone and

DA2 Deep Roads were streamlined. You're only there for about 15 minutes, tops.

I'll take this a step further. Those who are complaining probably aren't real cRPG fans.Seblun wrote...

Despite the combat, this game has an old school cRPG feel to it. Like BG1. The number of subquests that flood your character.... the choices you can make..... the way the convoluted plots and subplots tie together. The "I'm-overwhelmed-with-things-to-do feel".
It has it all.
Yes, kiddies. Call me a fanboi (as if that's some sort of insult lol). a Game has to EARN my fanboi status. And DA2 managed to do that about 10 minutes after I hit the big city.

Feel free to search my posts, you will find I had some rather thick anti-Bioware posts. But I can see how you'd be paranoid.3LECTRICOSITY wrote...
This OP account was clearly created by Bioware last year because they knew they ****ed up DA2. So they've had this "person" posting to build up a rep and whatnot as a normal person.
Tisk tisk bioware. (totally kidding). But this game has no emotion or story to me. It's ****ing boring. I'd rather watch flies ****.
BUT. You know what? I really do feel like an idiot.

obviously certain aspects of the game were streamlined, idealized, and my criticisms are varied and present, but i had a damned fun time and am enjoying single districts of kirkwall more than all of ferelden combined.

If you were so critical about the demo, then why did you buy the game at release?

Judging from the poor grammar and logical fallices which plague many if not most of the anti-DA2 posts on these forums, I am much, much more intelligent than those who have chosen to associate themselves with ignorance and bitter resentment over a video game. Please do not insinuate that I am "dumb" because you and I disagree over the internet about a few video game mechanics.

If you're going to attack people for logical fallacies, it would be a good idea not to base your argument on an ad hominem.

Good that you rise that up! Where the hell do I get an explanation of what is going on? I know there´s something wrong but the game never elaborates on why or what!
Compare to the sacred ashes: you know there is weird stuff going on and the game allows you to know why is weird.
