First of all, I am really enjoying this game so far. Not as much as the first... but it's still damn fun.

So anyway, I couldn't help noticing the same caves being repeated over and over. I know MANY people have already complained about this, but if someone from BioWare reads this (not a high chance, but you know, just in case) why did you repeat what Mass Effect 1 was criticised for? I literally am just curious.
And if anyone else wants to chip in, feel free ^_^ it just seems weird to do this after being criticised for it already.

I actually prefer ME1 over this. At least they had some form of a storyline to keep you interested.

On the topic of copy and paste locations - the lead developer even admitted it in a Eurogamer review lol. Over all the game feels a bit like a My First Dragon Age game by Fisher Price.

Because, they got lazy. With the success of the first DA game, they thought they could float by on hype and reputation alone.

The amount of time put into this is not anywhere near what they put into DA:O. And from what I understand, the devs purposely changed the gameplay because "they" didn't like the stuff in Origins that everyone else did.

I hate DA2. The only reason i'm playing it is because The Dalish girl (forgot her name). I think she's one of the neatest game characters. Just listening to her talk makes me crack up every time.

They should of just called this a different name and made a true origins sequel.

People have notice that actually. Thought that was bizarre when people mention it, because I forgotten about the fact that ME1 did the same thing. Though I said the same thing when comparing ME1 to ME2.

Money and dev time.

Corners were cut and new areas took the hit. I would love to see the original design docs for DAII.

Hopefully they will, the origin stories were great.  Maybe, eventually, we will all be able to look at this (2) as just the ugly stepchild of the DA series.

Im hoping the next DA game is Dragon Age Origins 2. The characters and story alone made me love DA:O. I'm actually SMOKING more (cigarettes) while I try to force feed myself DA2...

Pretty bad right?

I didn't like the combat in Origins very much (or at least I agree with the direction it took in DA2). I guess I was hired by BioWare without noticing it, because there's no way a consumer could have been disatisfied with DAO combat, it must be only BioWare employees.
