My character - a goofy mage, pro-mage mostly and anti-slavery - only got to 100% friendship with Aveline, Varric, and Anders. Fenris was left in the middle, Merril was sort of friend. Isabela took off and never came back after Act II. I didn't have Sebastien my first playthrough because I didnt have any money to download the DLC, but now I have it so, something new for my 2nd playthrough.
Anyhoo... at the end, Aveline stood by my side. Fenris took off, then came back, but he fought me and I had to kill him =( stupid elf. Oh and Carver became a templar and he and Cullen sided with me at the end.
I rarely used Merril, but I used Fenris a lot and so he just got stuck in the middle of friend and rival.
The Relationship system is flawed.
