Did anyone love Varric's little one-man-army scene with his crossbow?
It reminded me of the final gunbattle in Scarface.
Besides the beginning, I think that that was the only time Cassandra called him out for exaggerating his story.
Varric's one-man-army scene.

That was pretty awesome. Its actually the second counting the opening, but the only other one that I'm aware of.

LOL just went through this, I was like why did my companions disappear? Great stuff love it.

It was pretty awesome. Though, keep in mind, Varric may still be weaving a false tale. He's just really good at saying what someone wants to hear.

Varric going all Tony Montana was priceless.

I was actually howling at the bit when it flashes back to Cassandra, and he's saying "Oh Varric, Your strong and handsome and so very smart"

he is always died first in my game. he got little power, less stamina. I don't really use him a lot. since I am mage class. he is kind of useless. during combat, he attack enemies way back in line. sometimes I don't know where he is.

Really? Give him certain abilities and the man hits like a freaking Ogre. Always have him around for that reason. Well, and the lockpicking. ... And the chest hair. Can't go without that.

I was cracking up at the end of it. I was playing and was like "I knew there was a reason why I love Varric!" Then did the whole "Oooh, Varric! You sly dwarf, you!" Definitely my favorite character of the party thus far.

Yeah exactly. I don't if it was intentional (probably) or I'm just seeing things that aren't there, but the room is similar and I think Varric says something close to "say hello to my little friend" speaking of Bianca.

Yea, that part was great. I thought I was so boned at first, thinking that it was some sort of glitch, then I just decimated everyone with Varric. Good stuff

I was so confused for a second. "Wait, why is this cutscene vaguely ridiculous? WAIT, why is Varric the only person in the party? Oh god, that's a lot of dues, I -- AHAHAHA."
BRILLIANT stuff, this made me laugh SO hard. Varric is so tied for my favourite.

I wish this happened more in the game, from my count Varric only got ridiculous twice the whole game.

It was amazing. One of my favorite parts-getting to one-shot everything was awesome.

Easily one of the best, if not best moments of the game.

I think the main reason I love this scene is that it's just such a surprise--you don't see it coming at all. Really well done.

Best scene in the whole game. Funny how he can blow people up too by firing his crossbow at them. EPIC.

Lord, did Varric go in. I was roaring like a frat boy during this whole scene, too intense. I wish Varric would have gotten out of hand with his story telling more throughout the story, would have been some priceless moments.

He is the narrator, so he probably figured he could (and should) get his due exaggeration moment, despite the fact that he was covering up something that was actually very important.
