Okay first things first i hate and love Bioware, i love them for making such great games and hate them because they make me regret every decison in the game xD. The thing is im playing as a Warrior though you guessed that from the topic. And i have no ide i restarted the game two times because of my build first i wanted 2-hander then a Shield then a 2-hander again(yes i have the Black Emporium, so i know 'The Makers Sight' but it feelt like cheating) so what do you think is the funnier Spec Two-Hander or Sword and Shield?? So i can finaly clear the game and not just playing half of it over and over again ;-)
Pree Thanks :-D
Warrior Build: Sword and Shield or Two-Hander, really need to help :-D

I think this is simple. If you want to be a warrior that puts out high dps then you pick two handed. If you want to be able to tank and play defensively then you pick shield. I am using shield and it is okay but I used a two handed weapon without even putting abilities into two handed and it kills things a lot faster. The trick is finding the right build because there are so many options to put points into.

I would say 2h is funnier, but if you go 2h you're stuck with Aveline as the tank, and she can be quite the ****. If you go sword n' board you have other offense-options than warrior, and you get another 2h character as well.

i tried the sword and board route all through act one but i switched to 2h in act 2 and it is a whole new level of awesome. I do way more damage and because of that i find it easier to draw attention as the tank still. I think in DA2 the best defense is a good offense. Playing on hard at the moment.

Been playing a sword and shield.. And it owns once you get like level 6 or 7 with all the dlc gear you get.. He does a ton of dmg, has tons of knock back and he has tons of armor and health.. I plan on going into reaver for the aura and the health dmg increase..

I'm rocking S&B (still in Act I) and loving it. I'm "tanking", but have zero defensive talents. I'm mostly just running around beating the daylights out of enemies. I love how Assault and Shield Bash hit more than one target if you position yourself right. And nothing makes me smile more than doing that shield charge closing attack and making an enemy just EXPLODE from it.
