PS this is tangential, but I'm wondering--regarding the icons under our pictures, I know (obviously) that they denote which games we've registered: mine are Origins, Awakening, and DA2. I assume the pink icon is for Mass Effect...but what the heck is the half gold/half silver Warden shield?

It's the Ultimate Edition of Dragon Age: Origins

Ah, the Ultimate Edition. Thanks for letting me know. At first I thought it somehow had something to do with Legends...that was all I could come up with.

I like the day count. Keep it up, brother. It helps highlight the growing preposterousness of the situation.

Providing a clear day count will perhaps be extra informative to all the poor fresh recruits. Say, perhaps someone who saw one of umpteen DA2 commercials on televison over the weekend, bought the game, and got the bug.

I used to enjoy the commercials. Now they ****** me off. They should have a f*n disclaimer at the end: "WARNING--game is playable only in super-secret IMMOBILE mode at this time."

to go on topic about going off topic for politics again, I was saying to myself that I want to go to England someday.

Though after hearing about the extremist actions that happened over there in London, that someday probably won't be anytime soon.

Dear god, has anyone heard of this OTHER bug?
http://social.biowar...24389/1#6824756
I just realized that I have this one TOO ('no injuries' converted to permanent HP loss for Hawke).

I'm getting too bummed out to joke even slightly about this anymore. This is just...a catastrophe. Will all this s**t be covered in the upcoming patch?

We've got to keep on them and stay focused while we still have at least some residual enthusiasm for the game.

OK now THAT's unacceptable. I don't know if I have that bug on any of my files, because I generally keep tabs on my characters when they're running low on health. But Bioware, no offense to you as a gaming company, but that bug is unacceptable.

I've got this too. Didn't even notice. It became unbearable after getting Sebastian's friendship, but I checked an older save, and it's a problem there, too. Guess I'll have to shelve the game until a patch is released?

Would be really kind if the devs stopped by to give an update. I understand they don't want to raise hopes if they're still in the middle of dealing with the bug, but the silence is the worst.

yea the silence does make it painful. Anything from a "Hey we're still working on the patch for it" to a "It's troublesome, but we're almost done" or even an in depth progress report of them designing the patch would be nice and appreciated.

At Act 2, I've befriend with Isabella, but Sebastian is my rival. Why I still got this glitch?

Befriending Isabella will unlock her passive, Since it is bugged your still going to get a slow attack speed glitch.

that new glitch is upsetting. i'm gonna delete all my saves and restart fresh once the patch is out. haven't played since i found this thread(2 weeks back) so continuation doesn't really matter.

i'll prolly be bz with other games by the time the patch is out tho. truthfully i regret purchasing this at launch, should have waited for the repack(ultimate) edition a year later.

I just...can hardly wrap my head around this new bug we've detected. There are some really good, thorough posts in the other thread analyzing the problem.
So here's the big question: do you think they've been working on this "Injury/Permanent HP loss" bug concurrently with the Isabella/Sebastien bugs, or are they too just finding out about it now (presumably, farcically, sadly) through us?
If that's the case...with the slow-mo patch not even readied...forget about it. In the words of Hudson from *Aliens*: GAME OVER, MAN, GAME OVER.

I can't believe I was counting on DA2 as a way of *escaping* stress.

Today is my first visit to this website. I was hoping to find some answers to the slow motion bug but after reading all the posts, seems like it is what it is and there's no fix in sight. In spite of the problems, I did enjoy the game enough to play through it twice...even if I was getting my butt kicked at the end.

That's like saying "I don't wan't to go to America because you had the LA riots", and even that's not quite comparable.
A hundred or so angry kids attempted to hijack a few hundred thousand strong peaceful, well organised family orientated protest against Governmental cuts.
The few were condemed by both sides.

I think you're American news is famously sexed up.
I think you need to change your news channel.
As firearms are illegal in the UK, you're more likely to get killed in an American city.

meh I won't deny the news is biased in what they show and how they show it. But that seems to be true in all countries it seems. Maybe not as bad as the U.S. is but still. I didn't know though that firearms were illegal over there, so I apologize for thinking the riots over there were something to fret about. Damn news stationsImage IPB....

One reason I really want to go overseas to England is to see the royal guards in the fuzzy hats who have to keep a straight face and respond to nothing (I know, it's kinda stupid that this is one of my main reasons, but they get to wear fuzzy hats!) But there are some landmarks and places I'd like to see in England too, as well as Italy and Greece.

Also, the food. Good food makes me happy.
