Is it only me or my bugged game or whatever but I think the loot balance is seriously off.
I often thought like, whew I killed a dragon now I can plunder it's riches and what do I get? Junk loot that's worth 1 souvereign if I'm lucky. And oh what riches are there for scavenging the corpse of such a mighty beast. The highest amount of money I got from an enemy was like 73 silver or so.
And because you are the only one to be able to use armour loot 75% of the stuff you find is junk regardless of it's actual use or worth. And half of the remaining stuff is worse than what you are currently wearing anyway. I apologize if this sounds whiny but am I really the only one who thinks that more often than not that actually defeating dangerous monsters is a useless waste of time monetary wise.
Kill Dragon, get junk!

regular "dragons" are semi-common mobs like un-named revenants and arcane horrors. They occasionaly have one piece of equip but usually just a bit of silver.
Mature dragons have some unique bows and occasionaly another item, the High Dragon is the only loot pinata.

Well, the dragon was just an example. I meant that everything that's not a pushover mostly doesn't reward you. I'm fully aware that in other RPGs 90% of the loot is useless too but what I wanted to say is that whenever I survive an encounter against someone or something stronger I don't feel satisfied or accomplished by having aquired something worthwhile for killing them.

the high-dragon has the best armor in the game, the warplate of the champion (warrior) its different for each class

Agree with the OP. I kill big (challenging) monsters I want an appropriate reward, even if it's just 10-20 sovereigns. Don't give me 50 silver for killing a mature dragon, it's insulting.
