Hello,

I am having an issue with the game.  After I have released the mages in "Act of Mercy" I am supposed to convince Thrask that they are all dead, however the other Templar shows up and starts a fight. My party survives, but Thrask does not and now I cannot speak with him in order to finish the quest.  Which would be okay with me, except that Bertrand will not allow me to go on the expedition until I'm done that quest.  So I can't progress in the game at all.  And I'd really rather not go back to that save-game and start all over again!  A little help?

Also, two other quests are stuck as unresolved:  Herbalists tasks, because I can't talk to the Dalish about the Ironbark.  I got the quest after I had finished the other dalish stuff and now they won't start conversations.
And also Pier Pressure because I somehow managed to kill Leech before I got the quest.  So I can't speak to him to finish it.   

Anyone have any ideas? 

Also, is there a way to search the forums?  I must be missing it... but anyway, I hope this stuff hasn't been posted before... sorry if it has.

i have the same problem. this is stupid! its not a hard fix just to get thrask to spawn outside the cave. i have 17 hours so far and cant reload it and i wont start again,
What a rip off. If this isnt fixed very soon I will never buy bioware EVER again no matter what games they bring out. Ive never come across a bug like this before

Same issue with the cave, mage is outside n wont start convo, quest journal still says to kill thrask.

Well, I guess that's that. I thought we were past these kind of game breaking bugs.

Any resolution to this? Would be nice to see an official answer from someone. I'm stuck with Thrask nowhere to be found. Worse still is that I sort of shrugged the other day and went about my business with other quests. I'll lose several hours of playtime if I have to go back to a save old enough to redo the cave portion of the quest.

I wrote to BIOWARE about this issue and answer is "Sorry we cant help you".Its a shame.

I had to redo everything, but I made sure to protect Thrask's butt when it came to that fight again. This time he survived and I managed to carry on, but having to redo everything sucked!

I've never had this issue as I always managed to talk them out of fighting... but even though it should have finished the quest still remains in My "Rumors" list for some reason it's very strange... but it did not halt My progression through the game o.o...

I have a similar issue, only I have both Thrask and the other Templars just standing around.. This without being able to interact with either Thrask or the others to provoke any conflict or dialog that moves the story, I'm dead in the water.

HELP US..!

Best I can tell you is to go back to a save before you started that one, put Varric in your party and, let him do the talking.
